National Saddlery Competition – 4th February 2025

Every year, with the generous patronage of the Worshipful Company of Saddlers, the Society holds the National Saddlery Competition. Bringing together craftspeople from the UK and beyond, this event sees the very best work from Apprentice level to Master. Classes include saddle, bridle and harness making, as well as the ‘President’s Choice’.

The Competition, which is open to all SMS members, is held at the beautiful Saddlers' Hall close to St Paul's Cathedral. Attended by the great and good from the equine world and fellow Livery Companies, the Competition is a key night of the year for our members and apprentices. See below links to find out more.
