We are proud to say that here at The Society of Master Saddlers we have the most talented members and each year we hold two competitions to highlight their skills.  The first competition of the year is our National Competition held at the spectacular Saddlers Hall, courtesy of The Worshipful Company of Saddlers in February.  Our incredibly talented Saddlers, Apprentices and Trade members entries put on the most exquisite show of craftmanship.  The entries are showcased to invited guests from the equestrian world at an afternoon reception followed by the prestigious Gala Awards Evening.  It is the highlight of the Society's year where everyone wants to come away with a prize but particularly the coveted Best in Show Award.  Click the link below to see the amazing entries and photos from this year's event.

The second competition we hold is at BETA International in September.  For this event there are two competitions being held in parallel.  First is the Pre Made Competition where members make an pre determined item, which is judged by both our own judges and the public.  The Apprentices are also at the show making an item which is then judged.  Prize giving for both competitions is held in the Seminar area on the last day of the Show.  Click the link to see more details.
