Intermediate Saddle Repairs for Saddle Fitters 1

The day will cover:

• Removing and refitting a saddle panel
• Fitting a point strap, where possible using a rivet
• Fitting a balance strap
• Fitting a V web
• Adjusting saddle trees, what can go wrong (This will be a discussion not showing how to it)

Note:

• Attendees will have completed the basic course or be able to show they have mastered the basic skills. It is emphasised that attendees will not gain from the Intermediate course if they have not mastered the basics first.
• Delegates to bring a saddle suitable for the purpose.
• The day will not cover flocking or flocking adjustments
• The same syllabus, which will be adhered to with no additions, will be covered at all venues

Whilst we will endeavour to deliver the syllabus in one day, this will depend on each individual’s ability.
