Proud Members of:The Society once again has the opportunity to run a pre-made competition at BETA International which runs 28th and 29th September.
PLEASE help us put on a good display to showcase your amazing and diverse talents by entering our competition with A useful travel item It must be no larger than will fit into a Royal Mail Small Parcel box – 45cm / 35cm / 16cm and arrive at the NEW Society office by Thursday 25th September for transportation to BETA or taken to the Society's stand by 9am Sunday 28th September. If possible, entrants should arrange for their entry to be collected from the show at the end of the second day, Monday 29th September.

Judging will take place during the show with votes cast by the visitors and judging by Society Master Saddlers. The prize giving will take place on Monday 29th September. Prize winning entries will go forward for display at the National Saddlery Competition in February, the schedule for which is HERE

Other Activities from The Society at BETA 2025
On Sunday 28th September we will have four apprentices who will be competing to make a Plain Cavesson Noseband to the City & Guilds level 2 specification. All the materials and fittings will be supplied by The Saddlery Training Centre. We will confirm the competitors closer to the day for you to come and support them.
On Monday 29th September we will be having our HAVE A GO stations again, they proved very popular last year, we'd love for you to join us and try your hand at making a small leather item to take away with you.
